Dangerous Voting Resolution in Michigan
Call your state representative and senator today and tell them to oppose House Joint Resolution B. Your lawmakers need to know that endangering voting access for eligible Michigan voters in order to address a nonexistent problem is unacceptable, and that blocking this legislation is an urgent priority. (contact information will vary, based on your district. This is only for Michiganders.

I’m calling to say that I strongly oppose House JointResolution B. Requiring documentary proof of citizenship upon registering to vote will only result in eligible voters being unable to cast their ballots.
Michigan voters have already made it clear that we support voting rights, and safe, modern, and accessible elections. HJR B would add unnecessary barriers that would block eligible Michigan voters from registering and casting their ballot.
